UniNumber or an alternative, what do you use?

Tired of trial and error, so asking people who actually do this. What are you using for signing up without my own SIM?

So far I have been looking at UniNumber (virtual numbers for 49 apps in 170 countries) and PortSMS (bulk SMS to 227 countries from $0.0025 each, with a REST API). Would love real experiences, not ads.
